2007 – 2010
Since writing a paper entitled ‘Non Lethal weapons of mass communication’ in 2007, which was based on the military application of projection and expanded cinema as a weapon, I have submersed myself in the creative application of the potential future fusion of interactive technologies, intervention, street art and experimental gesture based installation.
Using a blend of programming, animation, video manipulation software, robotics, archaic technology, home broadcast methods, 16mm & super8 film cameras, processing techniques and a hunger for invention as necessity for exploration. I have been developing new techniques and processes, usually in collaboration. My research seeks to explore the realm of the human interdependent relationship with technology, collective identity and space.
2011
The majority of my work to date has been experiments in the process or the design of projects on paper, my aims for 2011 is to realise my research in finished work.
